There’s more to the toothbrush market today than just the old brush you may be used to. Power toothbrushes are adding more and more novel features to make your nightly bushing experience much more enjoyable.
Here are 3 beneficial developments:
1. Timers: Timers are now added to many power toothbrushes. Many people don’t brush their teeth for the recommended 2 minutes. Thirty seconds should be dedicated to each quadrant of your mouth and toothbrushes now have alerts to tell you to move to the next area.
2. Pressure Indicators: While you want to brush hard enough to clean off that plaque, you don’t want to brush too hard. Too much pressure will erode your gums and could cause bleeding. These indicators tell you when you have just enough pressure.
3. Brushing Mode: Many power toothbrushes have several modes. Some may include soft (for sensitive teeth) and massage (for your gums). Make sure to check the modes and choose for your needs.
Now that we’ve finished up our tech session, we hope you can celebrate National Toothbrush Day by brushing up those pearly whites.
