Did you know that Delta Dental of Virginia offers an easy way to check your patient’s benefits and eligibility?
1. Log into our provider page with your username and password.
2. Enter your patient’s Social Security Number, first name, and date of birth on the left-hand side of the screen.
3. Now you will see his or her up-to-date benefits information. You can also check claims status and submit new treatment plans for your patient.
Something for you and your patients to keep in mind – be clear about the Delta Dental network(s) in which you participate.
This will help your patients understand the benefits they’re able to receive. Remember, different plans reimburse at different levels. We know your network isn’t top of mind and it’s easy to simply state, “I’m a Delta Dental dentist.” However, the network in which you participate does matter when it comes to coverage for your patients, so make sure they’re aware if you don’t participate in a network covered by their plan.
Informed patients are happier patients. And happy patients will be eager to return to your office.
