Your explanation of benefits (EOB) is a statement intended to break down your dental treatments or services. At its core, an EOB notifies you that your dentist has submitted a claim for services they’ve provided. It’s not a bill, but more of a “heads up” to let you, the member, and Delta Dental know what the dentist wishes to charge, and what you may owe.
